A lot of factors come into
play when a key doesn’t work.
Things like it was cut on a
wrong blank, or the key the
customer brought to you
indeed does have excessive
wear and will need some
additional action on your part
to make them a good key. I
have even had a case where a
customer gave me the wrong
key for the lock they wanted
it to open and finally admitted
it may be a dif ferent key they
needed. Another factor you
must consider is that your
key machine needs some
TLC in the form of a small
adjustment.
